Then off the road bike onto the cross and pull off a 2nd - Top Boy!
Chris Whitfield our DH Vet pulled off a 1st at the SDA at the beginning off the month despite a spectacular tumble that showed off the back of his team jersey to full extent !
Last weekend he also goit 1st in SDA round 3 at AE Forest , with 3 1st out of 3 he is looking good for the series , and is doing well in the Masters as well.
Rowan Carpenter took the win in the PMBA Endura at Grizedale Forest with a very healthy 40 second lead. Jeremy Copland put in a late entry at Colne Mountain Bike Challenge and pulled off a 7th out of 300 riders.
Tom Hooper , after holding 3rd position at round 2 of the Nutcracker Xc Series and
the North of England Xc Championships I've suffered a mechanical problem
after an hours hard racing with just two laps to go....It's
disappointing to say the least but these things are sent to test us eh!
Fingers crossed for a finish at least at the next regional and national
round but first I'm going to pound the pavements in London at the
British 10k Champs.
The Raod Boys were hot this month. Matt Robinson pulled off 7th in th eElite 123 Race at the beginning of the month at Sharslston Wakefield. With Billy putting in an agressive ride as usual.
In the middle of the month Mat , with Peter , Marc and Matt turned out at the Yorkshire Divisonal Champs. The race was over a ten mile circuit that was very fast and rolling and made even tougher with the warm conditions !
Robo managed to get in the lead break of 8 riders on lap one with some
classy riders !! With 3 to go they were joined by another 8 under the
pressure a few riders got dropped straight away and a group of 5 chipped
off the front which 2 more joined a lap
later !! At that point he was riding for 8th out of a group of 5 which he
attacked with about 5 miles to go but unfortunately they pegged him back
!
He decided to then wait for the finish where he eventually got 10th in the sprint for the line which he was pretty pleased with what with the company he was in and being away from lap one !!

Peter Barusevicus won his inaugural race at Forge Valley in Sheffield. Peter comments,it was a 2/3/4 race and the sun brought a large field out of around
50-60 riders. The circuit itself is very twisty and key to performing is
staying at the front to avoid making up ground after the corners. A
promising mid-race break of four slipped away with me in it but the
resolve of the bunch was too much and we were all together again after
three laps. Alomst an attack every lap happened
but I stayed wise and followed the wheels, only chasing down the
occassional dangerous rider. It was a bit sketchy in the last three laps
with riders surging past the front but I kept my nerve and elbowed my
way to the front again. With 400m to go I opened up my sprint from 5th
place back, sliding in front of the lead man just before the last corner
and kept my lead to the all through the 80m from the corner to the
line.
Jez Copland jumped onto his road bike for Pearl Izumi Tour Series Cat 3/4 race in Barrow town centre.
My first ever crit which was thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding with a top ten finish (7th or 8th).
Here's Team ATC upping the pace around 5 laps in..... come on boys!
Chris Emsley got a 15th out 1000+ riders at the Etape Du Dales with avery fast 6:27:06 well done Chris!
With still a week to go lets see waht other results Team Terrain can bag !
Well done Guys !
